INDIANAPOLIS- The ability to give back will be incorporated in this year’s Marion County Fair. Fairgoers will have a chance to help out the community, while also enjoying the fun activities at the county fair.
This year the Marion County Fair is participating in the Fairs Care Program as a way to give back. The Fairs Care program has the goal of raising awareness of local hunger needs and help feed Hoosiers affected by hunger needs.
The fair will be collecting cans throughout the fair. Guests can donate $8 worth of cans to the fair. For this donation, guests will get a free ticket to the Indiana State Fair in August, while supply lasts. The cans will be going to local food pantries. These cans will go to helping families in Marion County who are in need. This program allows participants a chance to give back to their community as well as get tickets for the Indiana State Fair. It is a great way to make a difference.
Come join us at the Marion County Fair and give back to the community. For more information, check out www.marioncountyfair.org.
