INDIANAPOLIS- ​The ability to give back will be incorporated in this year’s Marion County Fair. Fairgoers will have a chance to help out the community, while also enjoying the fun activities at the county fair.

This year the Marion County Fair is participating in the Fairs Care Program as a way to give back. The Fairs Care program has the goal of raising awareness of local hunger needs and help feed Hoosiers affected by hunger needs.

INDIANAPOLIS- The Marion County Fair kicks off on June 21 and continues through June 30. On certain days, there will be special pricing and ride discounts.

General admission is typically $5. Children 5 and under, military members, police officers, and firefighters (with ID) get into the fair for free. A fair-long pass that covers all 10-days costs $25, but these are only available at the fair office. Fairgoers can also receive a $1 off coupon by filling out a form at

INDIANAPOLIS- Every year, the Marion County Fair hosts family arts competitions throughout the fair. This year will not be an exception. Starting on June 21st through the 30th, the Family Arts Building will have an array of different competitions going on for fairgoers to enjoy.

INDIANAPOLIS- The Marion County Fair is seeking entrants for the 2019 scholarship pageant. The pageant will take place on June 21, 2019  at 7 p.m. at the Marion County Fairgrounds Coliseum. The annual pageant is a scholarship opportunity for the contestants. A total of $1,400 worth of scholarships will be given out to the Queen and her Court.

  • Queen: $1,000 scholarship
  • First Runner-Up: $200 scholarship
  • Princess: $100 scholarship

Twiggy the Waterskiing Squirrel to visit Marion County Fair

INDIANAPOLIS – Twiggy the Waterskiing Squirrel will be visiting the Marion County Fair for multiple shows each day between Friday, June 15 and Tuesday, June 19. Her shows will be in the fairground’s plaza and are free with general fair admission.
