Open Fires
Open fires are NOT allowed at our park. Fires in fire pits, fire rings or other open burning are not permitted at any time. Indianpolis has passed a ban on open burning within the city limits. Charcoal grilling or gas grilling in an appropriate grill or vessel constructed for that purpose are permitted.
Parking
Each paid guest reservation convers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site (depending upon size of RV and Vehicle, large motor coaches may not leave enough room for your personal vehicle). If your vehicle and RV do not both fit in your site or you have additional vehicles, those must be parked in the adjacent parking lot. For trailer parking you may be asked to move trailers to a different location to allow for event parking.
Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, boat, etc. in an adjacent site. Vehicles must either fit within your camp site or be parked in the adjacent parking lot. Use of more than one site will result in additional fees and/or vehicles being towed to allow other campers to use the space to camp.
Livestock trailers are not permitted to be stored next to your RV. If a trailer is seen next to your RV for more than one hour, an additional fee will be added to your reservation. Failure to move the trailer upon request may result in you being asked to leave without a refund.
Speed Limit
The Fairgrounds speed limit is 20mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, your pets, our employees, and other guests safe. Exceeding this limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave without a refund for the remainder of your stay. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.

- Unattended Pets – Pets may not be left unattended outside of your RV in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including severe weather, power outages, etc. can affect their well-being while you’re away.

Only registered guests are permitted in the campgrounds. All visitors may be required to pay a fee to park on the property if events are occurring upon their arrival. Visitors may NOT bring pets. Day visitors must depart by 10pm EST. Overnight visitors must depart by Noon the next day. The Marion County Fairgrounds & Event Center reserves the right to further restrict visitors for at specific times related to events occurring on the property or for maintenance.
Electrical Use
You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in your RV. Amp usage over the 30 amp or 50 amp service provided at our spaces can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.
Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical boxes per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our boxes unless hired to do so.
Quiet Hours are from 11pm to 6am. Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.
Trash Disposal
Trash cans are located throughout the park. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the container. If the first container is full, please find another container. Do Not Place Your Trash On The Ground. Woodland creatures like possums and raccoons and city creatures like rats and mice are attracted to left out or disposed of food.
