Check-In: 9am-4pm (arrivals before 7pm will still be assisted)

Please Note: If you have not vacated your site by 12pm, an additional night’s fee will apply.

When You Arrive

  • Enter the Marion County Fairgrounds & Event Center through Gate 4 (via Fisher Road)
  • Drive down Main Street to our Administration Office
  • Park, then come inside where a staff member will assist you with your reservation.

Camping FAQ

Have a question about camping at the Marion County Fairgrounds? You’re in the right place!

Is the site full hook-up?

Yes, most sites are full hook-up with 30 & 50 amp services, along with water and sewer. There are a few that are electric-only sites and a few that are primitive-only sites. Water and sewer will be turned off when temperatures reach freezing. 

Are campfires allowed?

No fires or grills that sit on the ground are permitted. All fire pits and grills must be elevated from the ground.

Can I bring my pets?

Animals and pets are permitted on the Fairgrounds but must be leashed when walking inside or outside the buildings. Owners are responsible for pets’ actions and cleanup/disposal of waste. Only Service Animals are permitted inside any building. Service animals must be properly identified at all times. Service animals must remain on a leash and/or within voice command.

Is there a dumping station?

Yes.

Can campers have golf carts?

No, golf carts are not permitted on the Fairgrounds.

Do you have long term camping?

No, reservations are a maximum of 14 nights.

Can campers have packages delivered to the Fairgrounds?

Yes, but please include a valid phone number and campsite number. ISFC Staff will not be responsible for accepting deliveries.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

8+ days before arrival: $10 cancellation fee per reservation

1–7 days before arrival: First night’s rental fee + tax charged as cancellation fee per reservation

On or after the day of arrival: Entire rental fee is forfeited

PLEASE NOTE: Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights. Long-term or extended-stay camping is not available. All campsites are weather permitting.

Camping Policies and Terms & Conditions

All guests must adhere to the Camping Policies (detailed below) as well as the Camping Terms & Conditions.
Campsite Policies

Cancellations: Cancel ≥8 days before arrival: $10 fee. Cancel 1–7 days before arrival: first night’s fee + tax. Cancel on/after arrival: no refund.
Campsites: Stay in assigned site unless change approved by staff.
Fires/Grilling: No ground fires; only elevated grills permitted.
Vehicles/Trailers: 1 RV + 1 vehicle per site; overflow in designated lot. No unattended livestock trailers.
Quiet Hours: 11 PM–6 AM. Speed Limit: 20 mph.
Prohibited: Golf carts, drones, clotheslines, fireworks, firearms, generators.
Trash: Use provided receptacles; must be fully enclosed.

Pet Policies

Leash & Supervision: Pets must be leashed at all times, supervised, and never left unattended outside your RV. Do not tie pets to trees, doors, posts, or structures.
Buildings: Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed inside buildings. Service animals and animals participating in events are permitted.
Clean-Up: Owners must clean up after pets and dispose of waste properly. Failure to do so may result in removal without refund.
Health: All pets must be current on vaccinations.
Noise: Excessive barking will not be tolerated and may result in removal without refund.
